Today we look back at our 25–26 Spring Middle School Girls Soccer Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week recipients. Congratulations, Lady Lions!

⚽ Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 3/16
Abby Mihill
Abby’s versatility was a tremendous asset for the Lady Lions in the team’s inaugural game. She made an impact all over the field, scoring 2 goals while playing up front, recording 1 assist from the midfield, and helping the defense preserve a shutout. Her all-around performance helped set the tone for the season.

⚽ Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 4/6
Emery Rohwer
Emery consistently brought energy, effort, and positivity to every practice and game. She especially shined in the Lady Lions’ rematch against Carroll Christian, leading the team to victory with an outstanding performance that included 3 goals and 2 assists.

⚽ Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 4/27
Keira Daly
Keira elevated her game and leadership when her team needed it most. After entering the week with 9 goals and 4 assistsas a winger, she moved into center midfield and became the playmaking heart of the team. Keira recorded 2 goals and 2 assists while leading her teammates with humility and determination on their run to the championship game.

Today we look back at our 25–26 Spring Varsity and MS Baseball Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week recipients. Congratulations, Lions!

⚾ Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 3/9
Charlie Kichler
Charlie got the season off to a tremendous start, going 7-for-9 at the plate while also delivering a strong performance on the mound. He pitched 6 innings and recorded 9 strikeouts, making a major impact both offensively and defensively for the Lions.

⚾ Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 3/31
Matthew Veirs
Matthew made the most of the Lions' lone game of the week against Covenant Life. He was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate, consistently putting the ball in play and helping fuel the MACA offense.

⚾ Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 4/20
Carter Kichler
Carter turned in an outstanding all-around performance for the Lions. On the mound, he pitched 6.1 innings and struck out 12 batters, dominating opposing hitters. At the plate, he reached base four times, going 1-for-2 with 3 walks, helping lead the offense as well.

⚾ Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 3/30
Josiah Wantz
Josiah turned in a dominant performance against Heritage Academy. On the mound, he pitched 4 innings without allowing a hit or a run while striking out 6 batters. He also contributed offensively, drawing a walk and scoring a run to help lead the Lions.

⚾ Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 4/21
Noah Vick
Noah delivered an outstanding all-around performance against Redeemer Classical. At the plate, he recorded a hit, RBI, 2 walks, and 2 runs scored in three plate appearances. He also came on in relief and pitched 2 scoreless innings, striking out 2 batters and helping secure the victory for the Lions.

We begin our Spring Sports Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week Awards with a look back at our 2026 Spring Varsity and Middle School Track & Field Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week recipients. Congratulations, Lions!

🏃 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 3/24
Timothy Dowd
Timmy was the Lions’ top point scorer at the meet, contributing points in the 400-meter run, 400-meter relay, and winning the High Jump. He also provided outstanding leadership as a captain and encourager to his teammates.

🏃 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 4/13
Bo Korn
Bo demonstrated servant leadership by helping officiate the middle school meet before staying afterward to complete his own workout. He also competed at the Under Armour Invitational, placing 9th out of more than 100 runners in a highly competitive field.

🏃 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 5/4
Gabe Tully
Gabe earned Player of the Week honors through his perseverance and determination. After working hard to return from a winter injury, he raced well throughout the spring season and continued to be an important contributor to the Lions’ success.

🏃 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 3/24
Daniel Veirs
Daniel has shown tremendous growth in Track & Field this season. His commitment to doing his very best at every practice and meet has translated into strong performances, and his positive attitude has made him a valuable member of the team.

🏃 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 4/13
Isabella Mullally
Isabella has done an outstanding job serving as one of the team captains this season. She consistently works hard, leads by example, and never complains. At the Lions’ home meet, she was one of the team’s top point scorers, earning points in the 100-meter dash, Sprint Medley Relay, Distance Medley Relay, and High Jump.

🏃 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 5/4
Immy Campbell
Immy is new to Track & Field this season and has embraced the sport with enthusiasm and determination. She works hard, maintains a great attitude, and gives her best effort in every race. Her dedication and positive spirit have made her a wonderful addition to the Lions’ team.

We wrap up our Winter Sports Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week awards with a look back at our 25–26 Winter Varsity Boys Basketball Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week recipients. Congratulations, gentlemen!

🏀 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 11/17
Eli Brewer
Eli got the season off to a tremendous start, averaging 28 points per game over two contests. His scoring ability and offensive leadership helped the Lions open the year on a strong note.

🏀 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 12/15
Elian Monolakis
Elian came up big for the Lions, scoring 30 points while providing a strong presence in the paint. His physical play and rebounding gave the team a much-needed lift throughout the week.

🏀 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 1/12
Elian Monolakis
Elian earned his second Player of the Week honor after leading the offense in a pair of victories. He scored 20 points in one win and followed it up with 27 points in the next to help the Lions continue their strong play.

🏀 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 1/26
Michael Ostmann
Michael provided valuable minutes off the bench and made the most of his opportunities. He scored 8 pivotal points in a key victory over Living Grace, providing a spark when the Lions needed it most.

🏀 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 2/16
Eli Brewer
Eli was outstanding throughout the MIAC Tournament, averaging 26 points per game and leading the Lions offensively. His week was highlighted by a career-high 38-point performance in the conference championship game.

🏀 Jersey Mike’s Player of the Week – 2/23
Lucas Brethauer
Lucas delivered on the biggest stage of the season, scoring 18 points in the MCST Division 2 State Championship game. He knocked down three clutch second-half three-pointers to help lead the Lions to the state title.

SERVANT-LEADERSHIP AWARD

Hannah Peterson - Mount Airy Christian Academy (Mount Airy, MD)

"Hannah is deserving of the NCSAA Servant-Leadership Award for the Christlike leadership and servant-hearted example she consistently displays on and off the field. A captain for the past two seasons, she has been a steady leader whose presence elevates her teammates mentally, physically, and spiritually. She leads not only through her performance as a top player, but through the way she encourages, supports, and builds up those around her. Her testimony following her injury that kept her off the field her sophomore year was a powerful example of her faith and perseverance, inspiring both her coaches and teammates as she shared how God gave her strength during one of the darkest moments of her life. Her love for the game and gratitude for the opportunity to play are evident every time she steps onto the field, always seeking to honor God through her attitude and effort. Beyond competition, she consistently serves her team in meaningful ways, always willing to take equipment to and from the field and to help with anything else that is needed. Her willingness to serve in both big and small ways reflects the heart of a true servant leader. Respected and loved by her teammates, she models humility, character, and leadership that point others toward Christ."

The NCSAA Servant-Leadership Award is presented to senior athletes from our member schools who exemplified leadership by serving their teammates and opponents, displaying Christlike character in their competition, and interacting with others with a deep commitment to building them up. Thank you for leading and serving, Hannah, and for being dedicated to demonstrating Christ's sacrificial love.
