We are hiring a PreK 4's Teacher for the fall for our Tuesday/Thursday full day class. The hours of the class are 9:15-3:15.
Our Preschool is Accredited through the Maryland State Department of Education. We have earned a level 5 in Maryland EXCELS- which ranks early childhood education programs in our state. Our school uses The Creative Curriculum: Teaching Strategies, a curricula selected by MSDE for use in accredited programs. Our outcomes also align with Maryland's Early Learning Standards and the Maryland College and Career Ready Standards.
Throughout the year we enjoy partnering with CCPL for the Bookmobile and puppet shows. We welcome volunteers into our classrooms, take wonderful field trips, and we pride ourselves in our community partnerships. Our classroom's daily schedules include Art, Math, Social Studies and Science activities, Language/Literacy and Reading Readiness skills, Large and Small Gross Motor games and activities, Circle Time, and Music/Movement.
We are looking for individuals that love children and have a passion for Early Childhood Education. A bachelor's degree in early childhood or a related field is preferred for the teaching position. Experience in a preschool or childcare setting is also a plus!
