This evening, the Trojan cross country teams competed up at Brooke High School for the Bryan Fritz Memorial Invitational. The boys finished in second place, but the girls finished at meet champions! Additionally, Nathan Gomez picked up his second individual win of the year! Way to go Trojans!

Varsity volleyball picks up win #2 this evening at home against Cameron! 6th Grade and JV both came up close but fell short in 3 sets. Way to go Trojans!

Today, the MMS cross country teams were able to run on our home course at Grand Vue Park for the John Marshall Invitational. The girls team finished as runner up and the boys team won the meet lead by the 1-2-3 finish of Nathan Gomez, Jensen LeMasters, and Layton Henderson. Nathan Gomez also set the course record with a time of 11:37! Way to go Trojans!

It was also 8th grade recognition day as we were able to recognize our 8th Graders along with Sherrard as the next time they’ll be running this course, it will be together at John Marshall.

The MMS Local School Improvement Committee is looking for 3 parents/guardians. If you know a parent or guardian that would like to give input, and help create and implement goals to improve our school or you would like to fill this role, please use the link to nominate by next Friday, September 11th.
