Meet the director...

Hello, my name is Sara Paine and I am the director of The Collaborative Homeschool. I have over 20 years experience working with children as well as a Masters in Teaching, but most importantly, I am a mom with a passion to create a learning space for my children that both myself and my children are excited about.

This passion birthed the vision for The Collaborative Homeschool. After looking for a space where my children could regularly interact with peers, a space designed to foster a love of learning, and a space that allows me to work with other parents and have times when my child is taught by someone else, I realized that this space wasn't yet available and so designed it myself.

Welcome to The Collaborative! I am so glad you stopped by. If you have a child who will be entering K - 3rd grade Fall 2024, and you are interested in a 3 day a week co-op where parents share the teaching load, please fill out the interest form to learn more.

We are a co-op designed to provide students with regular social interaction structured around vibrant hands on lessons, and offer parents a framework in which they take turns team teaching with other parents. This is a great fit for families who love to be in community and would benefit from having a little time off from teaching as well.
