Our Counseling Department had a wonderful time visiting Ms. Moore, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Boatwright, Mrs. Wilson, and Mr. Naquin’s classes for a special lesson all about kindness! Students learned about the Mean Bean and talked about how our words and actions can impact others. They also did an awesome job getting creative and coloring their very own Mean Beans.

Mr. Crosby’s class used stations to explore the microscopic world of cells. During the lab, students were able to examine various cell types including plant cells, skin cells, blood cells, and even muscle cells. Other stations included identifying the parts/ functions of a microscope and then a computer station where students were able to work with a virtual microscope to explore even more cell types and structures.

Students from Willie J. Williams Middle School took to the show ring on Sept. 24 for the "Exceptional Exhibitor Experience," hosted at the local agricultural complex. The event paired middle school students with local livestock exhibitors, giving them hands-on experience presenting livestock projects during the local Lamb and Goat Show. Jointly organized by Colquitt County’s FFA and 4-H chapters, the initiative offered participants a unique, front-row look at agriculture and animal showmanship while fostering community mentorship.
