This month, Mrs. Kristie Tucker would like to recognize Susie Wisham, CAG Registrar, as THE most organized member of the Gray staff! "Susie has a positive and helpful attitude whenever she is working with students, staff, or parents. She is a great problem solver and uses her creativity to make whatever task she is working on the best it can be. Thank you, Susie, for your excellent work and dedication to CAG. You're ONE of the best!"๐Ÿฅ‡

Mrs. Everett and Mrs. Scrogginsโ€™ Science classes have been learning forces and motions for Unit 1. Using a cup, index card, and coin, students demonstrated Newtonโ€™s 1st Law: Inertia. Using a marble and cup, they were able to see how force impacts acceleration for Newtonโ€™s 2nd Law, as well as observing the 3rd law: for every action is an equal and opposite reaction. ๐Ÿค“

We're celebrating some BIG results on the 2025โ€“2026 Georgia Milestones! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are proud to celebrate a 19-point increase in content mastery in 8th-grade Georgia History, the largest content mastery increase of any GMAS assessment across the district. Our students also increased content mastery by 6 points in both 8th-grade Math and Science, showing strong growth across multiple content areas.

That growth was paired with strong overall performance, including a #2 ranking in RESA and a spot in the top 25% of the state for 8th-grade Physical Science, as well as a top 33% ranking in the state for 8th-grade Georgia History.

These numbers represent more than test scores, they reflect the hard work, dedication, and determination of our students and educators. We are proud to celebrate their growth and the incredible things they are accomplishing! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“ˆ
