What an inspiring and encouraging assembly with Malcolm Mitchell! His message sparked a renewed passion for reading and reminded us that books can open doors to endless possibilities. 📚✨

Josie was one of 10 second graders in our district selected to meet the author today! She received a jersey, joined his “Read Team,” and even got her book autographed!

Tyler, Jasper, Josie, Mrs. Bridges, and Paisley also had the special opportunity to join Malcolm on stage. What a memorable day celebrating the power and joy of reading! ❤️

📚✨ Celebrating Georgia Pre-K Week! ✨🐝

We have had an absolute blast celebrating Georgia Pre-K Week! To make this week extra special, wonderful leaders and community members took time out of their busy schedules to come read to our students and share a bit about what they do.

A huge thank you to our amazing guest readers: 📖 Norma McKellar, retired Librarian, for bringing her love of books and storytelling to our classrooms. 🩺 Dr. Kayla Batchelor for sharing how she helps take care of people in our community. 🐝 Trey Portier from Rossman Apiaries for giving us a buzzing good time—and even bringing real bees to show our students! 🚔 State Trooper Eddie Gay for teaching us about safety and community service. ⚡ Richie Yarbrough with Georgia Power for powering up our love for reading!

Early childhood education forms the foundation for a lifetime of learning, and seeing our community step up to inspire our youngest learners means the world to us. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so memorable!
