Trinity Baptist Preschool is excited to welcome Ashlan Mercer to our program for the 2026-2027 school year!
A 2017 graduate of Colquitt County High School, Ashlan received her B.S.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State in 2021 and her M.A.T. in Early Childhood Education in 2023. Since 2021, she has taught kindergarten and second grade at Funston Elementary School. Ashlan and her husband Charles have two children: a two-year-old son named Myers and a one-year-old daughter named Miller. In her spare time, Ashlan enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors with her family, especially at the beach. She said she loves teaching because the children’s “smiles, curiosity, and excitement for learning make every day joyful.”

Today we had our final chapel of the year. This sweet prayer has been said at every chapel. We love seeing our precious students grow and take this prayer to heart. Thank you to Mr. Nick and our amazing teachers for instilling these teachings into our students. This month’s Bible verse was “Treat others how you want to be treated.” Luke 6:31 ❤️⛪️
