🍔🥗State Food Challenge Competition! 🥪🌯

🍀Wish our 4-H members good luck as they compete this weekend at Rock Eagle in the Food Challenge competition.

Students will get three mystery ingredients and have to cook a dish, all while staying in their allotted time.

👏🏻We have two junior teams competing: The Summer Sisters, and Pop Pop & Joe Jr.
And one senior team competing: The Colquitt Cookers.

We are so excited for this weekends competition!

Time to saddle up! We have another Horse Club meeting! 🐴🐴

📅Our next meeting will be Wednesday, September 30th, from 4pm-5:30pm. Our club is open to 4-H members in 4th-12th grade.
We'll learn about the parts of an English and Western saddle and practice cleaning them!
Students are encouraged to bring their own saddle to clean.

Our lamb and goat show is next week!!

🍀We are so excited to see our 4-H members show off their livestock at our county facility.
🐐The show starts at 1:30 and the sale will begin at 6.

Colquitt County 4-H students are getting ready for the Georgia National Fair! 🎪
Our 4-Hers have been hard at work on their projects. We can not wait to see the final product!

6th-12th graders, interested in going to Geogia National Fair for 4-H Day at the Fair?Complete a project in one of five categories to join us for an exciting day at the fair! Projects can be completed as recycling, a decorated ag product, computer graphic design, a terrarium/dish garden, or a mini-booth exhibit. Project can be completed at home or during one of the following after-school work days from 3:30PM-5:00PM:

🍀SMILE! Our Horse club members learned about teeth🍀

🐴Students got to look at real horse teeth and compare them to their own. After learning, they got to practice floating their own horses' teeth! We also chose our officer team for 2026.

📅Missed horse club? Join us for the next one on September 30th! We are going to be learning about saddles and how to care for them.
