We would like to congratulate the LCHS Lady Red Devil softball team on winning their first two games in the AHSAA state tournament! With these two wins, the Lady Red Devils will advance to the second day of the tournament. Moulton Middle School students will not attend on Wednesday, May 20 and are encouraged to go support the Lady Red Devils as they continue to work towards the state championship.

Any student who needs to make up an exam will be able to do so on Thursday, May 21.

Info about softball for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The LCHS Lady Devils will begin play Tuesday at 10:45 AM and could play up to three games on Tuesday. Championship play will begin Wednesday as our Lady Devils continue their postseason run!

If Lawrence County advances to Wednesday’s games, Moulton Middle School will be dismissed so students and staff can attend and support our Lady Devils.

The 6th grade students had an excellent field trip to the Oakville Indian Mounds this week! They went through different stations that taught them about the history of Oakville and the Mounds, the culture and likely common practices of Natives who lived in the area, and they were able to have some fun canoeing and kayaking on the lake. Everyone had a great time! We would also like to say thank you to Ms. Anna, Mrs. Meagan, Coach Johnson, and the rest of the staff that made this trip possible!
