You know we’re always looking for an opportunity to dress up!

Our first K-8 Fun Friday of the fall is THIS FRIDAY, September 4, and we’re kicking things off with Connections at LCSS!

This one is all about the things that make our students them. Wear a favorite team, band, character, hobby, place, interest...whatever you love!
We’ll have something fun planned in each classroom, learn a few things we didn’t know about each other, and probably discover a few “Wait...YOU like that too?!” moments along the way.

So start planning those favorites! Come as yourself, show us what you love, and let’s make our first Fun Friday an extraordinary one.

Different interests. Different stories. Stronger together.

❤️🩵💙Favorite Color Day in Kindergarten! 💙🩵❤️

During math, each student shared their favorite color and added it to our class bar graph. After reviewing and comparing our color data, we brought the graph to life by creating a human bar graph!

Movement and visuals are so important for young learners. Classroom movement can improve concentration, engagement, behavior, and academic performance. Visuals also help young students organize, understand, and remember new information.

A special thank-you to Mrs. Willis and Mrs. Curry for collaborating with me to make this hands-on lesson possible! ❤️🩵💙📊
