Being the second year of the current scheduling cycle, the order of opponents is the same as last year just with home and away games being flipped. LCHS will host the annual jamboree with Hatton on August 15 to get the fall season going and this year’s Homecoming game will be September 26 against the Haleyville Lions.

2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣4️⃣ is almost officially in the 📚 and what a ride this season was! Thanks to all the players, coaches, parents, and fans whose efforts and support made it possible! Already looking forward to Red Devil 🏈 in August 2025⏳

- First back-to-back winning season since 2001
- First back-to-back playoff appearances since 2017
- Most points ever scored in a playoff game
- 2 all-state, 6 all-region, 6 all-area, 17 all-county selections

Congratulations to our 2024 Decatur Daily Class 5A-7A All-Area Team selections: Parker Frost, Braylon Dame, Caden Norwood, and Jack Boyll as well as honorable mention selection Ryder McGregory!

Congratulations to our two 2024 ASWA All-State Team recognitions!

Caden Lee, 2nd Team K
Parker Frost, Honorable Mention QB

Lee is the first LC kicker since Bryan Reeves in 1996 and just the 2nd LC kicker ever to recieve all state recognition.

Frost is the first LC QB to make Honorable Mention All-State since 2001, and only the 4th LC QB ever to do it. For context, no LC QB have ever been recognized higher than honorable mention.

These positions have never been recognized for LC since becoming a 5A school and are positions LC has very rarely been recognized at period. Very big deal for these guys and our program!

Take care of those who take care of you! Thanks to Mrs. Jamie-Darlene Rutherford and her amazing lunchroom team for the way they take care of our young men! We don’t show our appreciation enough but today we were able to take some time to do so. Not every school has a CNP staff that cares about taking care of ALL their students like the LCHS does! We are very blessed!

What started off as a campaign to secure new helmets to replace our expired stock turned into SO MUCH MORE as we worked hard to move the LC 🏈 needle again in 2024! New white game pants, new endzone stencil, themed helmet decals, and so much more helped make Friday nights in Moulton even more special!

As we enter the holiday season and you begin sharing gifts with those closest to you please consider a contribution to help us “reload” from this past season and set our targets for the 2025 season. A gift of $20, $50, $100 or more by all of our Red Devil 🏈 supporters would go so far and mean so much to the young men and coaches are who already are working hard in the offseason to bring you another season full of great memories!
