Congratulations to Kathy Phan and Pruitt Layman. They completed their Level 1 High Power Certification for rocketry today. They built and launched their biggest rocket to date. Good job!

I am so proud of these kids. They worked all year to qualify for Nationals (only 100 teams get invited), went in and had a beautiful launch that just went too high. They finished 55th (out of 922) and learned so much along the way (even on that launch day.) We cheered for our other local teams that we have practiced with along the way and celebrate their success with them. Tharptown High School is #1 and Muscle Shoals finished at #5. Now we start preparing for next year! Can’t wait to see what they do!
