Congratulations, to our 2026-2027 Mr. and Miss Moss Point High School, Landon Cato and Jamelen Spain. 🎉

In addition to their overall titles, Jamelen was the 1st Place Winner in Talent, and Landon received the Community Choice award.

Volleyball season is in full swing for our Tigers! 🐅

After securing a win over Perry Central on Thursday's first home game of the season, we are excited for our Tigers to bring the heat at home again tonight!

Join us tonight, Monday, August 17th at 7:00pm as our Varsity girls take on the Stone Tomcats!

Can't make tonight's game? Come out tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18th, as our Tigers take on the Gautier Gators! JV hits the court at 5:30pm, with Varsity immediately following at 6:30pm!

As a reminder, due to ongoing renovations of Arthur Haynes Gymnasium, all volleyball home games this season will be played at Magnolia Middle School.

Tiger Pride was on full display! 💙🤍

During the final 30 minutes of fourth block, some our students braved the heat to cheer on the Moss Point Tigers at football practice! They brought the energy, excitement, and school spirit.

This was about more than football. It was about building a culture where our students show up for one another, celebrate each other’s hard work, and take pride in being Moss Point Tigers.

Moss Point School District is proud to offer Senior Citizen Sports Passes for our loyal Tiger fans! 💙🤍🐅

You may pick up your pass at the Central Office, Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Please bring a valid ID with you for verification.

- Must be 65 years or older
- Must live in the city of Moss Point
- Passes are valid for ALL REGULAR HOME GAMES during the 2026-2027 season

📚➗ Great things are happening at Moss Point High School!

Today, Assistant Principal Dixon stepped into the classroom to teach a lesson on equations and inequalities, creating an engaging learning experience for our students. A special thank you to Ms. Davis, Ms. Williams, and Coach Goldsmith for assisting students and providing additional support throughout the lesson.

We were also excited to have Principal Gaines join the class to encourage and support students during instruction.

Today was a great example of collaboration, teamwork, and our shared commitment to student success. At MPHS, everyone plays a role in teaching, learning, and ensuring our students reach their full potential.

Club Rush Success!

Today, Moss Point High School students had an amazing opportunity to explore the many clubs and organizations our school has to offer during Club Rush! 🐯

From academic organizations and leadership groups to service clubs and student activities, Club Rush gave students the chance to discover new interests, build meaningful connections, and become more involved in school life.

At MPHS, we believe that getting connected beyond the classroom helps students develop leadership skills, create lasting friendships, and build a stronger school community.
