3/19/26 - The Spirits of '62 had yet another happy, noisy, uplifting luncheon, this time at Michael's on the Lake.

Marvin won the drawing, taking home 2 tea towels thus embroidered: (1) I'm pretty confident my last words will be "Well, s**t. That didn't work." (2) "Some days I amaze myself. Other days I put the keys in the fridge." Enjoy, Marvin!

With the ticket sales for this drawing and another donation, we have so far accumulated $270 toward the Class of '62's memorial donation to the Moses Lake Alumni Association for this year's scholarship. Just this morning the MLAA let me know that other classmates have sent in another $190 along with their dues to the Association. I'll kick in the difference to get us to the required $500 for memorial scholarships. With our help the Association has already met its goal to fund 12 scholarships ($12,000) this year!!!

Coralee joined us for lunch. She moved to North Carolina but is back in town to put her house on the market. Garage sale tomorrow!!!

If you haven't received an email recently about the next Class of '62 luncheon, we probably don't have your current email address. Get in touch through Messenger, either for MLHS Class of '62 or Susan U.

We'll be meeting on either 3/19 or 3/20. There will be a drawing for two beautiful tea towels. Drawing tickets are $10. Proceeds will go into the Class of '62's memorial s
cholarship fund at the Moses Lake Alumni Association's annual Celebration (scholarship awards ceremony) in May.

If you can't attend the luncheon but want to buy a drawing ticket:

* send me you $10 for a drawing ticket to arrive by 3/18

If you want to donate to the Class of '62's memorial scholarship fund, in honor of our deceased classmates and haven't already send in your membership form and funds to the Alumni Association:

* send me your MLAA membership fee ($5) + contact information, and
* send me whatever you wish to donate to the fund (MLAA will send you a receipt)

Spirits: don’t forget to let us know if you are a veteran, what branch and what years. Our 2026 reunion will honor our class’s veterans. So far only a handful have replied, and I know we were smack dab in the middle of the Vietnam War.
