Also finally got to give these to the Jog-a-thon Champs!! Top Boy and Girl runner from each grade, top boy and girl runners overall and top donation collectors! Each student got a fun gift card, chapstick and lions sticker inside their new water bottles!

We also recognized several outstanding teachers for this year including Mr. I who taught the 2nd-5th graders music, Mrs. Hedrick our resource room champ, Mrs. Greninger a second grade teacher and Mr.Cory our daytime custodian! We love all our teachers, paras, cooks, front office staff and everyone who works hard to keep things moving and running smoothly! It was a great year!

Field day was a success!! Thank you to Mr.Weber for allowing us to be part of it, thank you to Brain Freeze for coming and doing snow ones and Bees Photography for doing the photos! Super cute! And special thanks to my PTA moms, the paras and any other volunteers that came and helped! Go Lions!🦁

Field Day is coming up on Friday, June 12th! Students will be participating in a variety of activities throughout the day. Some activities may involve water, so students may get wet.

We recommend sending your student with an extra set of clothes and a towel.

If you do not want your student to participate in the water activities, please reach out to your student's teacher so they can make other arrangements.

If you have a current approved background check and would like to volunteer, please reach out to your student's teacher.

Please join us in welcoming Katrina Betes as Lakeview Elementary’s new Associate Principal!

Mrs. Betes brings a wealth of educational experience and a strong commitment to supporting students, staff, and families. Most recently, she served as a kindergarten teacher at Groff Elementary and has been housed at Lakeview since March 2025, where many of our students and staff have already had the opportunity to get to know her.

We are excited to officially welcome Mrs. Betes to the Lakeview family in this new leadership role. Her passion for students, relationship-focused approach, and dedication to creating positive learning environments make her an outstanding addition to our team.

We look forward to the leadership, support, and care she will bring to our school community. Welcome to Lakeview, Mrs. Betes!
