State Senate passes bill requiring gun buyers to get permit, take live fire training on Monday

Permit to Purchase Fi****ms:

A person may apply for a permit to purchase fi****ms with the background check program by submitting:

a complete set of fingerprints taken by the local law enforcement agency in the jurisdiction in which the applicant resides;
the required permit application fee; and
a certificate of completion of a certified fi****ms safety training program within the last five years, or proof that the applicant is exempt from the training requirement;
a completed application which must include the applicant's:
full name and place and date of birth;
residential address and current mailing address, if different;
driver's license number or state identification card number;
physical description;
telephone number and email address, at the option of the applicant;
an electronic signature.
The proposed permit would be valid for five years and may be renewed for another five-year term

Effective Immediately we will be closed beginning this Saturday until approximately Mid May. We are in the process of moving into a location that will allow us to meet all the new security requirements imposed in last years session. During this time we will not be doing any transfers or accepting any more deliveries. This move requires new licensing and other requirements that unfortunately take a while to complete. We will post our class schedule once available and will continue with current repairs. Thank you for understanding as we try to navigate all of the new state requirements designed to hinder small businesses like ours. Customer service is and always will be our top priority

The gun control fanatics are lined up to support HB-1163, a bill to require a permit to PURCHASE a handgun. Our rights are being taken away every year little by little

The Appropriations Committee approved House Bill 1163 on Thursday, setting the stage for the Rules Committee to schedule a floor debate before sending it to the Senate for consideration.

They are further infringing on our 2nd amendment rights!
