We tend to give a lot of credit to the rational mind.
The plan.
The spreadsheet.
The pros and cons list.
The resume.
The data.
The explanation that makes sense on paper.
And those things matter.
A clear mind, good information, and thoughtful analysis are gifts.
But some decisions ask for more than
They ask us to notice fit.
Timing.
Energy.
Trust.
Culture.
Peace.
Resistance.
Relational impact.
The thing that looks “right” on paper but still feels off.
Wisdom is not choosing between intuition and analysis.
Wisdom is learning how to honor both.
Sometimes the next right step is to gather more information.
Sometimes it is to stop gathering and get quiet enough to hear what you already know.
Sometimes it is to seek wise counsel.
Sometimes it is to notice whether the voice inside you is wisdom… or fear dressed up as clarity.
A good question to sit with this week:
Is this decision asking for more information, more quiet, more counsel, or more courage?
This is the kind of work we practice in Positive Intelligence - learning to quiet the mental noise enough to hear wisdom more clearly. 😌
I’ll be opening another PQ pod in August, and I’ll share more soon for those who are curious.
