Be Community Mindful. Moses Lake School District media platforms are intended to be a safe, positive environment to inform the community. They are not an open forum to chat with MLSD staff or the Board of Directors. Comments will be removed if they:
• Are not related to relevant to the topic of a post
• Contain links to websites that are not owned or managed by MLSD
• Contain information about students that is protected from public release by state and federal law

This year, we are excited to introduce our new Park Orchard Vision, Mission, and CLIMB Values. They put into words what we believe about our students and what we want for every Grizzly. Our vision is for every Grizzly to be ready for the climb—confident, resilient, kind, and prepared to keep moving forward.

Our new CLIMB Values—Connect, Learn, Include, Mindset, and Best—will help us get there. Along with our PAWS expectations, these values will help our students grow not only as learners, but as kind, responsible, and compassionate citizens who believe in themselves, contribute to their community, and care about others. This connects directly to our district's commitment to empower every student to achieve, believe, and contribute while supporting the success and well-being of all.

And while CLIMB is new, our Grizzlies already know their PAWS! We will continue to Practice Safety, Act Responsibly, Work Hard & Do Our Best, and Show Respect. PAWS are what our expectations look like every day, everywhere in our school.

Did you know one of the easiest ways to support your school is to collect box tops! Except it’s different than how we used to do it and SO much easier! As you are filling those carts with summer groceries, you can simply download the box top app and connect it with your Walmart grocery app! On June 12th GCAO had the pleasure of attending an assembly at Park Orchard Elementary School in Moses Lake. Hailey & Lupe of GCAO were presented with a donation of $803.32 from the Park Orchard Grizz Pack!! These students worked tremendously hard & selflessly to gather this donation to make a difference in the lives of dogs & cats in Grant County!! We are so grateful for all their hard work & compassionate hearts! We 💙 our community!! 🐾🫶🏻

We are excited to introduce Kathleen Bergstrom as the new Associate Principal at Park Orchard Elementary! Kathleen brings a passion for building relationships, supporting students and staff, and partnering with families to help every child succeed. Congratulations to these well deserving families for raising $200 or more during the Jog A Thon Fundraiser.

These funds will help provide Park Orchard Students with fun assemblies, activities and experiences next year!

Today we had 30 families earn a VIP Pizza Party with water games, a hydration station, games and giveaways for raising over $200 in donations or sponsors for the jog-a-thon! Go Grizzlies! 💚 🐾
