It's a new semester, and that means Joe's Closet is right around the corner with the U of I Fall Career Fair just a couple of weeks beyond. Student Vandals can take advantage of free gently-used professional clothing to dress for job interviews, academic presentations or other pursuits they want to look their best for. The event is Sept. 22-23 in the ISUB (ASUI Lounge) on the Moscow campus, and students can get a free professional portrait taken on the spot as well!

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month and an opportunity to learn how to recognize and respond if we think someone is thinking about su***de while also celebrating resilience and hope.

We're offering a relaxation hypnosis session in the VPE Office in Mem Gym 109 on September 9th with Dr. Clint Emmett, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at the Vandal Health Clinic.

Vandal Health Education is hosting workshops like Mental Health First Aid and QPR Su***de Prevention Training, so you can grow your helping skills.

And this year, we're celebrating resilience with a color run at the end of the month.

Please consider donating any of your gently-used professional attire for Vandals seeking to look their best at job interviews, academic presentations and other career pursuits. We are especially short on men's clothing (suits, jackets, slacks, ties), but any business clothing you can donate for use by U of I students is welcome. Thank you for anything you can provide!
