We are blown away by this beautiful stack of donated books at Lewis-Clark State College Kindercollege! Thank you for the amazing donation!

We don't know who donated this book, but it reminds us of the "tokolotsi" in Lesotho! Tokolotsi are little creatures that are said to sneak around at night and do mischievous things. The Mischievians will be a popular read - thank you!

PS: we're about 1/3 of the way to our goal of 1000 books. Keep 'em coming!

We have 9 boxes of books so far! Help us get more for middle and high school ages!

We met with a great UI student today who told us about another book drive effort going on in Moscow! Efiwe collects and distributes textbooks into higher education institutions in Africa. If you're looking to donate used textbooks, check them out!

Efiwe Efiwe used to be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to collecting and delivering University textbooks to African post-secondary institutions' libraries. This helped alleviate the lack in Tertiary Institutions.

Despite the holiday last week, we still filled two boxes with books at the TerraGraphics International Foundation building. Keep 'em coming!

We have a fourth drop off location in Moscow! Big thanks to Latah County Library District for their support! Drop by the library (or TerraGraphics International Foundation, 1912 Center, or Café Artista) to donate new or used children's books for the Lesotho library.

We now have a collection box for the Moscow Idaho to Maloti Mountains Book Drive in the foyer of the Moscow Public Library! You can donate new or used children’s books to start a library in a Lesotho school.

The donation box at Café Artista is overflowing after less than one week! So are our hearts. Let's keep this going!

Fun Facts!

Lesotho is pronounced lay-soo-too! The people are the Basotho (bah-soo-too) and the language is Sesotho (seh-soo-too).

Lesotho is one of three true enclaves in the world.

Lesotho is entirely above 1000 m (3281 ft) and it's lowest point is ~1400, making it the highest country in the world by that measure.

Its latitude and elevation mean that it snows every winter - not something you think about for an African nation!

Third drop off location is ready! Thanks 1912 Center!
