The Latah County Fair is starting today! Head on over tonight through the weekend to support PPCS students showing their animals and projects. PPCS Classroom Aide and Moscow High School Swim Coach Taylor Wassel and her swim team will be at the fair Friday from 5 to 7 pm raising money for the MSD HS Swim Team at their dunk tank. Come on out and dunk 'em to raise money for a great cause!

6th Grade Crew launched their first case study of their Expedition, Systems of the 3rd Rock. Learning is focused on the formation of Earth and the Solar System. In this first case study, students will also explore what can be learned from the rock record and the geologic time scale. Students organized science journals and systems for tracking their organization and work completion. The 6th graders' first lab involved creating a model of the solar system to consider how density influences the locations of the rocky planets and gas giants in our solar system. Students created detailed drawings of their observations in their science journals.

Third grade Crew has been diving into literacy and math with new 3rd grade teacher, Avery Williams. They've been learning the gist of things and plotting goldfish results.

It's our Back to School Night Bash tonight at PPCS from 5 to 6 pm! Join us in the multipurpose room to begin for introductions and announcements. Then you're welcome to explore classrooms, meet teachers, and your future classmates. Popsicles on the playground afterwards! Parents please note that children may not play unattended on the playground. We look forward to seeing you tonight!
