Wrapping up the week at the Idaho State Department of Education's New Superintendent Orientation. Every session has provided valuable insights, new connections, and ideas that I'm excited to bring back to support our students, staff, and school community. 📚 🐾

Idaho news briefs:
• The Idaho Association of School Administrators Summer Leadership Conference this week in Boise brings together over 500 educational leaders from across Idaho to talk about strengthening public education. Gov. Brad Little opened the conference on Monday.
• FEMA approved a request from Idaho for a declaration under the agency’s Fire Management Assistance Grant program. It’s to help fight the in Washington County.
• Idaho Gov. Brad Little asked Idahoans to join him in keeping the Twin Falls community in their prayers. Authorities said Monday they were trying to determine a motivation for the weekend shooting in which three people were killed and seven wounded before the suspect killed himself.

A big thank you to our incredible Parent Action Team (PAT) and to the Principal's parents (yes, her *actual* parents 🤣) for helping refresh the entrance to our elementary building!
Even schools can run short on storage space, so we're especially grateful for the creativity and generosity of our PAT in helping find practical solutions that make our spaces more functional and welcoming. Thanks to everyone who pitched in, our entrance has a fresh new look and an even warmer welcome for students, families, and visitors.
