The Realms of Avalon is a non-profit educational group which studies the arts, sciences, and martial arts of the Middle Ages through the Renaissance and recreates them as a way of learning.

Hello again! It's County Fair month, and the Fairgrounds is needed to actually, y'know, host the Fair, so we aren't scheduled to meet there again until October. Any updates in the meantime will be posted here, but if nothing changes, we'll see you in October!

Another belated reminder (it was the start of classes at the UI this week, which is always a distraction) that we're set to meet this Thursday as usual (6:30pm, Latah County Fairgrounds Event Center), and that's our last Fairgrounds meeting until October 1st. In the meantime, the Latah County Fair will be setting up and running, followed by a Friends of the Library book sale, so there will be a lot of cool things going on at the site at least!

A belated reminder that we're scheduled to meet as usual this Thursday/tomorrow (6:30 pm, Latah county Events Center). It appears there will be a County Employee BBQ happening at the same time out on the lawn and in the community kitchen, so if there are a ton of vehicles around, that will be why. :)

Hello, all - we're scheduled to meet this Thursday as usual (6:30 pm, Latah County Fairgrounds, Moscow, ID). We also have 8/20 and 8/27 reserved, but then September is county Fair month and the Fairgrounds will be closed for Fair setup and teardown. We'll resume our regular meetings after the Fair is over - be sure to go and enjoy all the fun things on offer while it's running!

Update - practice cancelled tomorrow, 8/6. While the air quality has been better than predicted lately, some folks prefer to go out less while there's smoke around - and it can get worse very quickly, without warning. Others have totally unrelated scheduling conflicts.

We have the space reserved next Thursday (13th), and we'll revisit things then if air quality is still a potential issue.

Greetings, all! We're back with another scheduled Thursday meeting this week (6:30pm, Latah County Fairgrounds Events Center). We *may* cancel if the air quality will be too poor; if so, there will be a cancellation post here. Hopefully not, but things are on fire out there.

Also, there will be a (literal!) circus setting up outside; if there seems to be a lot of unusual vehicles/activity going on, that's why.
