We Survived Andrews Experiment 2025!
The Range Club spent this last weekend in central Idahos Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area at the Taylor Wilderness Research Station helping out Andrew, the manager, with some land maintenance including prescribed burning and streambank erosion control.
Everyone returned with eyebrows intact and a smile on their faces.

That time of year again. Please consider helping us out. SRM is a valuable opportunity for members to network, explore leadership opportunities, connect with peers in the industry, and investigate potential careers.
An in person donation can be given via cash or check, but we also take Venmo.

Tonight our members learned about the importance of rangeland plants. To demonstrate their many uses we made rose oil and salves from specimens hand foraged by our officer team. Thanks everyone who came and hung out!

Hey guys! I’m Taylor Newey, a senior studying rangeland ecology and management with a minor in communications. Originally from Richfield, ID I’m the oldest of 9 kids. When I’m not working one of my 4 jobs or hanging out with range club you can normally find me working on stuff for the SRM Student Conclave (which I’m president of), messing around with my truck, or outside hiking, hunting, or taking a nap on some grass.
