What is Range Club?

We’re the University of Idaho’s student chapter of the Society for Range Management, bringing together students interested in rangelands, wildlife, livestock, ecology, conservation, and natural resources.
We take our interests outside the classroom through field trips, professional events, competitions, networking, and hands on experiences while learning about the landscapes that support people, wildlife, and working lands.

Officer Introduction!

Howdy all!

I'm Cadin Baldwin, the returning Vice-President for the University of Idaho Range Club. I'm a senior in Rangeland Ecology and Management with a minor in Natural Resources and Society. I spent the summer traveling to Japan and fighting fire on the Salmon-Challis national forest with a healthy dose of fly-fishing in-between. During the school year, I split my time between clubs, my degree, the national guard, and spending as much time outdoors as I can get. Outdoor time for me is enjoyed with everything including target shooting, hiking, hunting, fishing, rafting, etc. I'm looking forward to the new school year and all the exciting opportunities Range Club will provide!

Hi, my name is Will Amonette, and I am the new president serving the University of Idaho for the 26-27 school year. I am a junior pursuing a degree in Rangeland Ecology in Management. This will be my third year in the club, and I am excited to see what this next one has in store for us. This summer, I am working on the Idaho NRI crew as a Range Technician.
