Who is ready for week 4?! I know I am! I am sorry I missed the last couple of days, but I am feeling much better and ready to get back to ya'll! I hope ya'll had a chance to rest and spend time with your families this weekend, and are ready to start a new week!

This week, we are going to do our data chats, talk about your goals, and how you did on your tests! Don't worry if you didn't do well on it! We will work together to come up with a plan to get you where we want you to be, and talk about reteach/retest!
This week we are also starting multiplying multi-digit numbers, but don't let that scare you! It's not as scary as it sounds! Remember, I always have a few "twix" up my sleeve for you! Haha!

Always remember you got this, and you are capable of doing difficult things! I'm always here to help you meet your goals! I believe in you and I'm so proud of all of you!

Our 5th- and 6th-grade Café Leaders are turning everyday responsibilities into real-world learning! Through their teacher-assigned café jobs, these scholars are strengthening teamwork, responsibility, positive work ethics, social skills, and Panther pride.

From helping others to keeping their shared space clean and organized, our Panthers are learning that leadership is not just something you talk about—it is something you demonstrate! 👏🏾🌟

Our 5th grade Panthers were busy building their science skills! 🐾🔬 Students worked together to sort cards and create food chains and food webs, putting their understanding of producers, consumers, and energy flow to work. 🌱🐰🦅 We love seeing teamwork and learning in action in Ms. T. 🧪🎈 MR. G IS SPARKING SCIENTIFIC THINKING! 🎈🧪

First-year science teacher Mr. Garrison—affectionately known as “Mr. G” by his 7th-grade scholars—is bringing science to life at BMJ!

Through demonstrations, visuals, academic vocabulary, note-taking, questioning, and student predictions, Mr. G is tapping into the multiple intelligences of his young scientists. Scholars explored how temperature affects particles as they examined expansion, contraction, condensation, and pressure. The balloon demonstration encouraged them to observe, think critically, and justify why warm and cool water produced different results.

Mr. G’s message is clear: Science is not just something we read—it is something we observe, question, explain, and experience! Thank you, Mr. G, for sparking curiosity and developing our next generation of scientific thinkers! 💙💛🐾

🍪🔬 Sweet Success in 5th Grade Science!

Our Science SuperStars in Ms. T. Adams’ class earned a surprise cookie cake from Mrs. Watson—and nobody even knew it was up for grabs! These scholars showed their science skills by correctly identifying food chains. They proved that hard work is always at the top of the food chain! 🐾🌿➡️🍪

A sweet reward for some hard work! 🍪🎉 Congratulations to Ms. Adams’s 2nd Block for earning the highest class average on our first big Science test! 🏆🔬 Their hard work paid off, and our amazing principal made the celebration even sweeter with a delicious cookie cake! 💙💛🐾 We are so proud of our Panthers! 🎉
