My name is Karen Thompson and I am a pianist and teacher residing in Morton, Illinois. My goal is to help each student develop a love of music that will last a lifetime. Piano lessons are personalized for each student and are structured so students enjoy making music. I do teach the classics like The Entertainer, Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata. I do teach theory and how

to compose and improvise. I use a lot of gamification to reinforce lessons and make lessons fun. So if you are looking for a teacher who will help nurture your love of music, this may be the studio for you.
