8 years ago, our beautiful OLA was underway after our devastating fire. What started as a difficult chapter quickly became a story of strength and community!!

So many memories have been made along the way and looking back, we’re reminded of just how special our OLA family truly is. From temporary classrooms to new beginnings, we grew stronger together and created memories that will last a lifetime. 🥹💙💛

On this throwback Tuesday we thank the OLA community that helped rebuild more than a school, you helped rebuild a home. 🥰

🎉🏆 BIG NEWS, OLA! 🏆🎉

We are beyond excited to announce that Our Lady of Angels Regional School has been named a School of Distinction for Growth by the Office of Catholic Elementary Education! 💙💛

This award recognizes the incredible academic growth of our students and the hard work of our amazing teachers, staff, and families.

Way to go, OLA! We are so proud of this outstanding achievement! 👏🎉

Ok OLA family… our last TEACHER SPOTLIGHT is Ms. Rosemary Edmiston! ⭐️⭐️

“Ms. E”, will be returning to the OLA/OLPH campus in September. She began her teaching career at OLPH in 1989 teaching 6th grade math, science, and religion. After being there for 13 years she moved to O’Hara, then Northly Middle School where she taught 7th grade science. She transferred to Sun Valley High School and then to Haverford High School were she served as vice-principal. Ms. E will be teaching 7th & 8th grade math and 8th grade science in Sept.

She loves to travel and is a huge Disney fan! When she is not in school she loves working in her garden, reading, and spending time with friends. While she loves the outdoors, the thing she loves the most is spending time with her nieces and nephews 🥰

“I am thrilled to continue serving our school community in a new role this year. I began my journey at OLA with the tremendous opportunity of assisting Mrs. Donovan in Pre‑K,and will now also step into the position of Spanish teacher. I am so excited to share my love of the Spanish language and the rich, diverse cultures it represents. I look forward to helping our students grow as curious, confident learners who embrace language as a bridge to understanding the world”

Mrs. McNasby enjoys reading, sewing, playing Clue, and watching Star Wars, Marvel, and Harry Potter movies with her husband and two boys, Victor and Oliver!

🎓 A graduate of West Chester University with a degree in Early Childhood Education, she’s excited to begin this new chapter at OLA!

We are so excited to welcome Ms. Regina Smith to the OLA family! 🎉

Ms. Smith recently graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Middle School Education and is excited to begin her teaching career at OLA. She will be teaching 7th & 8th Grade Social Studies and 7th Grade Science.

When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Smith enjoys reading, running, and spending time at the beach.

⭐️ NEW TEACHER SPOTLIGHT ⭐️

We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Paula Zimmerman to the OLA family! 🎉 Mrs. Zimmerman will be joining Mrs. Donovan in our Pre-K 4 classroom, and we know she’ll be a wonderful addition to our school community.

Mrs. Zimmerman was born and raised in Woodlyn and is a Ridley High School graduate. She was married in 1979 and has two sons, Kevin and Danny. She has three beautiful grandchildren…. Jaxon, Alicia & McKenna. She spent 26 years working in healthcare and previously worked as a Special Education Aide at Delcroft Elementary, where she made many wonderful memories! ❤️

Mrs. Zimmerman enjoys gardening, baking, shopping at Hobby Lobby, and, most of all, spending time with her family. ❤️

“I am SO excited to be joining the OLA team and especially excited and happy to be able to spend my time with Pre-K 4. I’m sure I’ll be learning a lot from them!”
