And just like that, our final week of music camp has come to a close! 🎶 This group of kids was a bit older and wiser, and it showed, they brought such maturity and heart to everything we did. We're so incredibly proud of them.

The week was full of great learning! Conducting, drumming, and rhythm games kept the energy high, while our Composer Talks on Clara Schumann, Florence Price, and Nina Simone sparked some wonderful conversations. We also dove into 4 ensemble pieces and a few crafts together.

It all came together beautifully with a fantastic final performance to close out the week. What a joy it's been to watch these kids grow, learn, and make music together. Thank you for a wonderful summer! 👏🏻🩵🎹

What a fabulous 2nd week of music camp! 🎶 We had the sweetest group of girls who brought so much energy and joy to every session! We spent the week rehearsing ensemble music together, building toward a wonderful mini performance for our parents. 🥰

This crew got crafty too, making their own conducting batons and foldable pianos! Since it was an all girls group, we celebrated with our own Female Composer Club, diving into the lives and music of Clara Schumann, Florence Price, and Nina Simone!

Of course, we made time for fun too, with conducting and drumming games on the Switch, plus a musical round of Heads Up! Such a memorable week with this talented group of young musicians! 🩵🎹👏🏻🎶

🎶✨ What a WILD and wonderful first week of Music Camp! Our young musicians were busy, busy, busy and we could not be prouder of everything they got accomplished! 🎵

- 🪄 Baton makers extraordinaire! Our campers crafted their very own conducting batons, because every great conductor needs the perfect wand to bring music to life. :)
- 🎹 Musical teamwork! Our campers came together to play ensemble music, learning that the best sound happens when everyone plays their part and LISTENS to each other. :))
- 📖 Creative crafters! Everyone designed their own music lapbook - a hands on, foldable masterpiece packed with fun facts and musical moments.
- 🕹️ Game time with a beat! We wrapped up some sessions with drumming & conducting games on the Wii/Switch. 🙌🏻

These campers are turning into confident, creative musicians one activity at a time! 🎶💫
