Golf School District 67 is located in Morton Grove, Illinois. The Village of Morton Grove is approximately 13 miles north of downtown Chicago. Our district is comprised of two schools, Hynes Elementary School and Golf Middle School. Students in Pre-Kindergarten through fourth grade attend Hynes Elementary School and those in grades five through eight attend Golf Middle School. Our school district has an enrollment of approximately 615 students and is served by 73 teachers and staff.

Our demolition crews have had a massive week clearing out the old corridor that enclosed the courtyard at Hynes Elementary School. Getting this space prepped is a huge step forward for the project!

What’s next? Up next, the teams are moving right into groundwork so we can officially start construction on the brand-new Media Center! 📚✨

Last week, we officially broke ground on the future of Golf School District 67. 🎉

While Friday's ceremony was held at Hynes Elementary School, this milestone marks the beginning of construction and improvements at both schools this summer, including the renovation of the Media Center at Golf Middle School.

Students, staff, Board members, community leaders, and project partners came together to celebrate the start of these exciting projects made possible through the successful passage of the Foundation4Future Referendum.

These improvements will create enhanced learning spaces, increase accessibility, and support students for generations to come.
