🌱 Little hands, meaningful work. 🌱

This week, our children took part in planting seeds and caring for our garden beds. Through digging, planting, watering, and observing, they experienced one of the most important Montessori lessons: a connection to the natural world.

Gardening offers children the opportunity to develop patience, responsibility, concentration, and respect for living things. As they nurture each plant, they begin to understand that growth takes time, care, and attention.

Our hearts are still so full from our Mommy & Me Yoga in the Park 🌿🧘‍♀️

In Montessori, we believe connection comes before everything else. Through movement, stillness, laughter, and shared moments on the grass, our children experienced the joy of simply being alongside the people they love most.

Thank you to all of our wonderful mothers and caregivers for slowing down with us, stretching with us, and creating such peaceful, joyful memories together. Your presence is the greatest gift. 💛

Earth Day at MAMG 💚
This week our little learners explored the beauty of the Earth through hands-on discovery—observing fresh fruits and vegetables, learning where our food comes from, and practicing care and respect for the natural world.

From touching, slicing, smelling, and tasting, these meaningful experiences help children build a connection to nature in the most authentic way. 🌿🍅🥒🥑

In Montessori, every day is an opportunity to nurture gratitude for our planet and teach even our youngest children how to care for it.

Celebrating Earth Day at MAMG! Wendell Berry says, “A person who is growing a garden is improving a piece of the world.”Students planted seeds, explored caterpillars, and learned how to conserve and prolong plant life. This week we will also enjoy eco-friendly art and talk about recycling. In the Montessori setting, students take pride in taking care of their environment and creating beauty. Food activities are a wonderful Montessori tool to explore various foods and cultures. Today we are celebrating Holi, a popular Hindi Festival. MAMG collaborated to make a Mango Lassi! Toddler and Primary children enjoyed presentations and explored their global awareness!
