The impact of an education from Clayton State reaches far beyond campus.
In FY2025, Clayton State generated more than $305 million in economic impact across the southern Atlanta metro region and supported 2,025 jobs, including 566 on campus and 1,459 throughout the community.
That impact continues long after graduation.
A new University System of Georgia study found that, on average, graduates earning a bachelor’s degree from a Georgia public college or university can expect more than $1.4 million in additional lifetime earnings compared to not earning a degree. In Georgia, earning a bachelor’s degree is estimated to increase lifetime earnings by 80%.
At Clayton State, a degree is more than a credential. It’s an investment in opportunity, social mobility and the future of our region.
