Get ready for some serious fun! Bring the whole family for an AMAZING and FREE community event packed with excitement at Sterling Montessori’s International Festival.

Enjoy 11 family activity booths, electrifying live performances, and a super fun kids’ obstacle course. Kids and adults alike will love the dazzling face painting, magical fairy hair, and beautiful henna art.

Come hungry! A delicious variety of food will be available for purchase from fantastic food trucks featuring Nepali Kitchen, Mediterranean Halal, and Turkey BBQ.

There’s something for everyone—culture, music, food, and fun for the whole family. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable evening!

Parking is available in the parking lot off Town Hall Drive, with overflow parking at Cedar Fork Community Center.

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Black History Month our Middle School students donated paintings as a service project to the Duke Hospice and Family Pavilion to brighten the space. Images will be on display throughout February.

We’re excited to share some good news!

Research Triangle High School has officially signed a new articulation agreement with Sterling Montessori, strengthening an existing relationship and recognizing RTHS as a strong next step for students continuing their high school journey. Beginning with the currently open 2026–2027 admissions cycle, students enrolled at Sterling Montessori will receive priority lottery status in Group 4 when applying to RTHS.

This partnership reflects what we have seen over many years: students coming from a variety of learning environments—Sterling Montessori included—have thrived at RTHS. Our flipped classroom and project-based methods build on students’ independence while challenging them to think deeply, collaborate, and apply their learning in meaningful ways.

Agreements like this one reinforce RTHS’s role as a destination high school and highlight the strength of our academic model and community. We’re proud of the continued interest in RTHS and excited about the pathways we are building for future students.

This past Saturday, Sterling celebrated our diverse culture with our annual International Festival! What a fun time had by all! Thank you to our amazing Chairs, volunteers, performers, including Master Chang's Martial Arts, Formosa Association, Chinese Dragon Dance, Iranian Cultural Society, and, of course our own choral groups. Thank you to our families for hosting amazing Family Tables, sharing important cultural lessons and foods from around the world. Most importantly, thank you to all for coming together (even in the rain) and making this a special day.
