At a local Montessori school, we have started our Captain EnergyPants after school program with energetic snowball fights! PreK-K students learn all about potential and kinetic energy while targeting their teacher. Next up - What are renewable resources? How do they work?

🍁 Yesterday was our Fall STEM Market at a local Montessori school! During the program, students created a business with products, business signs, digital logos, pricing sheets, and more. They had to purchase materials from the STEM Store in order to make their products and think about profit. All businesses were profitable yesterday! Take a look at all the fun everyone had!

For this Montessori school, next week is Fall STEM Market so we had to focus and create some digital ads for our store fronts. We used Canva to get creative while working with our business partners. Look at the creativity and art part of STEM at play here! We will display these digital ads at each store during the market. We are all very excited to conduct the Fall STEM Market next week!

First day of robotics class at this Montessori school went well yesterday with an introduction to robotics and practicing building with our robotics pieces. This group is PreK to K so understanding where they are with their fine motor skills is very important, but besides practicing snapping blocks together, all students are ready for their first robot, the dancing birds, next week!

Yesterday, we started the Entrepreneurship: Build to Market program at this Montessori school. Students had a BLAST! We set up a STEM Store and got to work with creating our businesses and products. It was amazing to see the kids do mental math, make quick decisions on what they really needed based on remaining money, and even question pricing of popsicle sticks! Next week's plan: More product building and STEM Store, small business loan applications since most used up all their business grant money, and price changes for bulk pricing / overstock.

At Follow The Child Montessori School, we have been having a great time designing, building, coding, and improving our Bumper Car robots! Last week, we finished out the project with a fun game of bumper cars! Can you guess what theme each team chose for their bumper arenas? For the end of the school year, we will be designing our bots for some "battling" ;)
