Every week I can't get over how much fun everyone is having at our Creative Art Series for 60+. Next week will be the last in the series and it will be a little hard to say goodbye. So instead, we'll say "until next time!" We'll run this program again as soon as we can.

✨ Introducing Neuroline Studio at River Arts ✨
Join us for a neurographic meet-up — a guided creative practice where drawing becomes a tool for working with your mind.
🗓 Thursday, May 21st at 5:00 PM
This is not an art class. You don’t need talent, technique, or experience.
This is a method-based practice that uses simple lines and structured steps to help you explore thoughts, reduce stress, and create inner harmony through visual expression.
I’m not an art teacher — I learned this method directly from the creator of Neurographic drawing, and I guide you through the process step by step in a clear, supportive way.
✨ The 10 Neurographic Principles:
Image integrates meaning
Meaning contains states
Problems arise from mind
Solutions have bionic quality
Harmony leads to satisfaction
Universe fits on the pencil tip
Every task has a graphic solution
Drawing plane has no boundaries
The world consists of figures and lines
Drawing is simple
💫 No artistic background required — this practice is truly for everyone.
✨ All materials are provided, or feel free to bring your favorites.
Come as you are, and discover how simple lines can shift the way you think and feel.

Free Writing Workshop Invites Community to Explore Survivorship Through Creative Expression
Morrisville, VT — May 2, 2026 — Community members are invited to a free, welcoming writing workshop, “Writing for Resilience: Freeing the Survivor’s Voice for Strength and Creative Expression,” taking place on Saturday, May 2 from 4:00–6:00 PM at River Arts.
This one-time workshop offers participants an opportunity to explore the written word as a pathway to resilience, insight, and creative expression. Through a series of flash writing prompts and guided exercises, attendees will be encouraged to draw from their own lived experiences—including moments of challenge—and discover how those stories can be shaped into meaningful personal expression.
Open to all, the workshop welcomes both those new to writing and experienced writers alike. Together, participants will co-create a supportive and respectful space where authenticity is honored and each voice has room to emerge.
“We are all survivors of something,” says facilitator Gerette Buglion. “When we give language to what we’ve lived through, we often reconnect with parts of ourselves that were silenced—and discover strength and creativity in the process.”
The workshop is free to attend. Registration is available through Morristown Free University.
