Sip N' Slurry is a fantastic night of clay exploration. Each session features a unique clay project, so even if you've attended before, there will always be new techniques and creations to try. During this session you will create your own wall-hanging vase.

Come as a beginner to learn the basics or join with experience for a new perspective on hand-building. This is the perfect opportunity to grab a friend and come out for a fun and relaxing start to your weekend.

Your ticket includes all materials, instruction, and two glasses of wine or beer to enjoy while you create.

Our fall session of The Art School afterschool program starts September 1! Registration opens this upcoming Monday on August 3 — https://www.riverartsvt.org/

Details: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30 - 5pm. For ages 8-13.

This immersive art program is designed for young makers who are ready to sharpen their skills and expand their creativity. Students work with professional materials and learn foundational techniques in drawing, painting, and composition — building toward more expressive, personal works.

During this progressive art school, students learn how to truly see—to slow down, observe carefully, and translate what is in front of them onto paper. They practiced patience, focus, and problem-solving when things didn’t go as planned. They learned how to talk about their work, reflect on the process, and support one another as artists.

Morrisville Live is not happening tonight due to possible thunderstorms. And we're disappointed because we were excited to have Art Happens Here in our tent!

Hopefully we'll be able to reschedule with Art Happens Here, but no matter what we'll be at Morrisville Live with a free creative activity next week. See you then!

This week's featured band is Al's Pals, serving up soulful, fun tunes you know and love, played by talented musicians from near and far.

Led by singer and bass player Alex Budney, Al's Pals brings a high-energy mix of funk, rock, blues, and more, featuring music by Tom Petty, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Grant Green, The Meters, and many others. Al's Pals keeps the vibes high and the crowd smiling.

Admission is free! Enjoy a variety of local food options, plus activities and art projects for all ages from area nonprofits and community organizations.

Bring a chair or blanket, gather your friends and family, and join us for another fun summer evening by the river.
