Another successful clean up for the books over at Morrisville's riverfront preserve.
Thank you to everyone who came out on this chilly morning.

Yesterday we had our first regional EAC meeting. Hosted by the Lower Makefield EAC. They did an amazing job putting this meeting together. It really was a successful event and I met a lot of great people.
I'm excited to see what we can accomplish together.

Everyone did an amazing job today at the preserve!

Hi All,
We have one more scheduled workday at the Riverfront Preserve on Saturday, November 22 at 9 am. Wear sturdy shoes and bring pruners or loppers, if you have them (if not, we will have tools available).

We are clearing invasives along the riverfront trail, allowing views to the water, beneficial plants to grow and the trees to breathe. The progress is quite remarkable; we urge everyone to take a walk down there to enjoy a new perspective of our river.

Thank you to the many volunteers who have pitched in, it would not be possible without your help.

We will be continuing to work at the Preserve through the winter. We also plan to seed the area with native species once we have had a hard frost and some rain. We don’t have specific dates at this time - please let us know if you are interested in any pop up workdays. An hour or two working along the river is energizing and gratifying.
