True shoulder turn comes from your thoracic spine - not your arms pulling you around.
Book openers with no arms isolates that rotation so you can actually feel what a real turn is supposed to feel like.
More powerful. Less armsy. More consistent posture through your swing.
→ This is in Chris's warm-up. It should be in yours too.

You've been told to make a bigger turn. You try. It's still short.
Richard came in over 60 with a restricted swing and limitations across every rotary center we measure - negative 8 degrees of shoulder rotation, spine 10 degrees short, hips compensating with a foot flip at address.
You cannot coach your way out of that with a bigger turn cue.
Here's the progress: his hips are now at 40 degrees on both sides. Watch the video - he keeps rotating past where he used to stop. That turn that looked impossible is happening.
Now his body can physically do what his instructor asks. That's when lessons become valuable.
→ Short swing? The answer probably isn't trying harder.
Make sure to catch our latest episode of The Golf Fitness Bomb Squad where Chris Finn talked with TPI Advisor, Robert Yang, as he breaks down the PFF principle- protein, fat, and fiber.
He talks about why combining all three creates a slow, sustained release of energy that keeps you locked in from the first tee to the last putt.
This is the simplest performance habit most golfers have never heard of.

The broad jump is simple, self-measurable, and one of the best ways to build the ground force that our data shows drives clubhead speed.
Track it. Improve it. Watch your drives follow.
Your coach gave you the right tip but your body physically couldn't execute it.
Once you remove the physical blocks, those same lessons become wildly more effective and your handicap will finally start to droop.

If your body can't do what your swing coach is asking, the lesson is worth nothing. Fix the body first - then the same lesson becomes a completely different investment.
Your hamstrings aren't tight.
Your hip hinge is broken.
Most golfers bend from their lower back when they reach toward the ground - which over-stretches the hamstrings and underloads the hips every single swing.
Brush the ground teaches you to hinge from your hips the way your body is designed to.
Looser hamstrings. Consistent address position. Less back pain.

TPI Advisor and Elite Sports Nutritionist Robert Yang breaks down exactly what a perfect pre-round breakfast looks like and why what you eat in the morning determines how you feel on hole 12, 14, and 18.
The higher your blood sugar spikes, the harder it crashes. Here's how to stop it.
