We are proud to announce that we have been named a Magnet School of Distinction by the Magnet Schools of America!

WECIB is proud to share that we have been named to the 2025 College Board AP School Honor Roll at the PLATINUM level. This recognition reflects our strong commitment to access and achievement in advanced coursework.

During the 2024–25 school year, 100% of our seniors took at least one AP exam, 82% earned a score of 3 or higher on an AP exam, and 32% completed five or more AP exams during their high school experience.

We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for this outstanding accomplishment.

Our Sophomore Biotech students presented during our annual NIIMBL bioLOGIC project. These students are conducting research on the cutting edge of medical intervention and treatment. Thanks to our industry partners and scientists for providing feedback on the proposals. We’ll see you next month for the final pitches!

Our students in Mr. Helm‘s Economics and Personal Finance class took first and third place in the Junior Achievement stock market competition today! The first place students get to compete in the national competition in Atlanta. Congrats to all on a job well done! And yes…the trophy is a bull, so it was clearly meant to be. 🎊🎉🎊🎉
