In this heartwarming clip, our adult learner, Suma, brings Krishna to life through a simple and soulful choreography of the lovely composition - “Madhava Mamava” by Ms. Asha Bala, accompanied by the beautiful voice of Smt. Mathangi Shankar.

At Leela School, we believe that the joy of dance has no age or boundaries. It takes courage to begin, conviction to persevere, and faith to keep moving forward - qualities that Krishna’s life reminds us to embrace.

This Krishna Jayanthi, we celebrate the courage to overcome all odds, through the joy of learning, and the belief that it is never too late to dance.

In Bharata Natyam, rhythm is more than something a dancer follows, it is the foundation that brings movement to life.

Our Music for Dance program helps students explore tala, laya, and sollukattu, building a deeper connection between music and movement.

We are excited to welcome Ashwin Subramaniyan, joining us from India. Trained in Mridangam, Konnakkol, and Nattuvangam, Ashwin brings a deep understanding of rhythm and its connection to Bharata Natyam.

We look forward to this wonderful learning journey!

The hard work is done, the memories are made, and Pratishtha is ready. Surrounded by the love and support of her family, friends, and Leela family, we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.

Another beautiful rehearsal, and the excitement is getting real!

One of the most special parts of Arangetram journey at Leela is seeing family, friends, and our Leela family come together again and again, showing up, helping wherever needed, cheering her on, and simply being there through it all.

There’s so much happening behind the scenes, but also so much laughter, love, and excitement along the way. The hard work is coming together, the final touches are falling into place, and we are getting so close!

We can’t wait to see it all come alive on stage for Pratishtha’s special day!
