Meadowview Middle School

We would like to welcome Mandy Smith as the new Guidance Counselor for Meadowview. She brings 13 years of experience in education and is passionate about supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. She looks forward to partnering with students, families, and staff to help every child feel supported, valued, and successful. She is honored to be part of the Meadowview community and can’t wait to get started!







Nos complace dar la bienvenida a Mandy Smith como la nueva consejera escolar de Meadowview. Cuenta con 13 años de experiencia en educación y le apasiona apoyar el desarrollo académico, social y emocional de los estudiantes. Está deseando colaborar con estudiantes, familias y personal para que cada niño se sienta apoyado, valorado y exitoso. ¡Es un honor para ella formar parte de la comunidad de Meadowview y está ansiosa por empezar!

We would like to welcome Mrs Dodson to Meadowview Middle School.
Mrs Dodson will be teaching 7th grade ELA.

Mrs. Dodson has come to Morristown from West Tennessee, where she taught English at Dresden High School. She enjoys reading, gardening, and speaking in movie quotes. She especially loves teaching grammar and mechanics (use those commas wisely!) and introducing students to great books!
She and Mr. Dodson have three daughters at home and a bonus daughter who lives in Lebanon, TN. Mrs. Dodson is excited to be a Meadowview Viking this year!

La Sra. Dodson impartirá la clase de Lengua y Literatura Inglesa de séptimo grado.

La Sra. Dodson viene a Morristown desde el oeste de Tennessee, donde enseñó inglés en la Escuela Preparatoria Dresden. Le gusta leer, la jardinería y citar películas. Le encanta enseñar gramática y ortografía (¡usen bien las comas!) y presentarles a los estudiantes grandes libros.
Ella y el Sr. Dodson tienen tres hijas en casa y una hijastra que vive en Lebanon, Tennessee. ¡La Sra. Dodson está muy emocionada de ser parte de la comunidad de Meadowview este año!

🏀 The Meadowview Boys Basketball team wrapped up a great three days at team camp at Tusculum University!

Our players competed hard, learned from every game, and continued building the habits that lead to success: communication, toughness, teamwork, and effort.

We’re excited about the growth we’ve already seen and can’t wait to get back in the gym. The future is bright for Vikings Basketball!

A huge thank you to the coaches, parents, supporters, and the staff at Tusculum for providing a great experience for our student-athletes.







🏀 ¡El equipo de baloncesto masculino de Meadowview culminó tres días fantásticos en el campamento de la Universidad de Tusculum!

Nuestros jugadores compitieron con intensidad, aprendieron de cada partido y siguieron desarrollando los hábitos que conducen al éxito: comunicación, fortaleza mental, trabajo en equipo y esfuerzo.

Estamos muy contentos con el progreso que ya hemos visto y con muchas ganas de volver al gimnasio. ¡El futuro del baloncesto de los Vikings es prometedor!

Un enorme agradecimiento a los entrenadores, padres, aficionados y al personal de Tusculum por brindarles a nuestros estudiantes-atletas una experiencia inolvidable.
