Villa Walsh Academy, conducted by the Religious Teachers Filippini, is a college preparatory Catholic school for young women from grades seven through twelve. Historically, with 100% of graduating students entering four year colleges, Villa Walsh Academy has been recognized for its academic achievements at national, state, and university levels. National Merit Scholars and scholarship recipients have entered top colleges and universities from coast to coast, armed with the well-rounded education that Villa Walsh Academy provides. Sweet Beginnings for the Class of 2027 & 2030!

One of Villa’s sweetest traditions is here!

Candy Day officially kicked off the Big Sister/Little Sister journey for our Class of 2027 seniors and their soon-to-be Little Sisters from the Class of 2030!

A little rain couldn’t stop this Villa tradition! Gathered under the auditorium overhang, our seniors were welcomed by their soon-to-be Little Sisters with candy, smiles, and plenty of excitement, the perfect beginning to a very special Villa connection.

There’s something so meaningful about watching one generation of Villa girls welcome the next, sharing traditions, offering friendship and guidance, and creating bonds that make the Villa sisterhood so special.

And the sweetest part is still to come…

A beautiful night. A Villa first. And the perfect way to begin a new school year!

What an incredible evening at our 2026 Parent Social! For the first time, our Villa families gathered at the Mansion to kick off the 2026–2027 school year together, and it truly could not have been more special.

The weather could not have been better, the food and drinks were wonderful, and the sunset from the Mansion porch was absolutely stunning. But the best part of the evening was seeing our Villa community together, new families meeting one another, longtime friends reconnecting, and so much laughter and conversation filling the porch and grounds.

Our heartfelt thanks to Sr. Marianne for so graciously opening her home to our Villa families and making this beautiful evening possible. It was such a special opportunity to gather at the Mansion, and our families loved every minute of it.

A special thank you to our Principal, Sr. Elaine, for beginning our evening with a beautiful blessing and for doing the honors of drawing the winner of our Tuition Raffle. Congratulations to the Greguske Family, this year’s lucky winner!

Thank you to HSA Presidents Chris and Karen Vowells, and the entire Home & School Association for their leadership, hard work, and hospitality in helping bring the evening together, and to our Administration for joining us and spending the evening connecting with our families.

There was something truly special about beginning the year this way, together, as one Villa community.

Fridays look a little different at Villa!

Every Friday, our Villa girls get to trade their uniforms for their favorite Villa Spirit Wear, and we love seeing that Villa pride all over campus!
From sweatshirts and tees to jerseys and all things green, Spirit Wear Friday is one of those little traditions that makes being a Villa girl so much fun.

Because school spirit isn’t just something we celebrate at the big games and events, it’s part of everyday life at Villa.

A Great First Week at Villa!

From classrooms and conversations to new friendships, activities, and plenty of smiles, our first week back was filled with everything that makes Villa so special.

Our students jumped right back into learning, reconnecting, trying new things, and making the most of every opportunity. There’s nothing quite like seeing our halls, classrooms, fields, and stages filled with Villa girls again!

And apparently, everyone was ready to come back to Villa…including Paris, Madame Kandemir’s adorable pup, who found the perfect spot to settle in.

Here’s to a wonderful year ahead filled with learning, friendship, growth, and so much more.

Our newly upgraded turf is ready…and it’s another exciting example of the investment being made across the Villa Walsh Academy campus.

More than a beautiful new field, this is a space where our student-athletes will compete, grow, lead, build friendships, and make memories for years to come.

From our classrooms to our athletic spaces and everywhere in between, Villa continues to move forward while staying true to the traditions and community that make our school so special.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

This morning, the Villa Walsh Academy community gathered in St. Lucy Chapel for a special prayer service marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

Together, our students, faculty, staff, Sisters, parents, and members of our greater Villa community paused to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, to honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders and all who served, and to pray for the families who continue to carry the memory of that day.

Twenty-five years later, we remember not only the tragedy of September 11, but also the extraordinary courage, compassion, unity, and selflessness shown in its aftermath.

As a community of faith, we pray for peace and for a world in which the next generation carries forward those lessons of love, service, and care for one another.

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We pray. We will never forget.

The Villa Walsh Academy Home-School Association is excited to announce our 2026 $10,000 Tuition Raffle!

One lucky winner will receive $10,000 toward tuition at Villa Walsh Academy OR an accredited college or university.

• Tickets: $200 each
• Drawing: Thursday, September 24 at 7:30 PM

The winning ticket will be drawn at our Parent Social.

Tickets may be purchased the night of the drawing or by contacting the VWA Business Office at 973-538-3680, Ext. 170 or Mrs. Innella at [email protected].

VILLA, ELEVATED!

Another transformation is taking shape at Villa!

The entrance to the Business Office and Brown Hall has been completely reimagined, transforming what was once the lower locker area into a bright, welcoming new common space for our entire Villa community.

At the heart of the space is a beautiful new mural celebrating our campus, surrounded by seven digital displays showcasing our amazing students, in the classroom, on the field and court, on stage, in service, and in all the ways they make Villa, Villa.

Designed for our students, faculty, staff, families, and guests to gather, connect, and spend time together, this new space is another example of how we are investing in our campus while celebrating what matters most, our girls.

And there’s still more to come! The finishing touches, including new furniture, will be arriving soon, and we can’t wait to see this space fully come to life.

VILLA IS BACK!

The classrooms are full, the hallways are busy, our teams are back in action, friendships are picking up right where they left off, new ones are forming, and the energy around campus says it all.

We’re officially back in full swing at Villa Walsh Academy!

And today, there was a little something extra happening around campus…We’re capturing some of the people, places and moments that make Villa so special, and we can’t wait to share more.

A new school year. So much happening. So much ahead.
