Beginner Kids: We are focusing on two key movements after getting back up to our feet—⚡

Advanced Kids: Adding another lapel choke variation to the arsenal and working it from several different positions! 🥋🎯

Beginner Adults: Continuing our series from bottom guard then looking at a top submission ⚡

Advanced Adults: Continuing our De La Riva guard work with two brand-new transitions to add to the toolbox! 🛠️💥

It’s almost that time! 🚨

August 17th is right around the corner, and you know what that means—Phil Hurst will be back on the mats at Victory Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!

Phil is the man who started it all and laid the foundation for what we have today. There are very few men who have had a greater impact on my life than Phil. He has been a true mentor through it all, guiding me through everything from my career to my walk with Christ.

He will be teaching Mondays at 5:30 PM.

Class Details:

Type: Gi Class

Requirements: 35 years of age or older AND at least a 1-stripe white belt

Focus: Strategy and longevity in BJJ

This won't be a class focused on dumping a ton of new techniques on you. Instead, it’s designed around smart training—how to approach BJJ so you can stay healthy and keep training for as long as possible as a 35+ athlete.

Awesome night on the mats! Tonight we dialed in on sequencing across all classes—working arm drags to double legs, guard passing, and top-position submissions. (Kids Beginner focused on the same great sequence, keeping submissions out for now). Everyone killed it tonight! Huge congratulations to McKenzie and Hank, our July raffle winners! 🎟️🔥

Our kids crushed their body lock takedowns and mount escapes, while the adults dialed in their headquarters passing and put in heavy work during situational training.

You all looked sharp out there—keep pushing! See you all tomorrow! 🔥🙌

Tonight was absolute chaos in the best way possible!

Between our kids and adult sessions, we had 9 new students step onto the mats to try out class tonight! We hope every one of you had an awesome time and felt right at home.

Between welcoming all our new faces and somehow completely ripping the back out of my pants midway through class… taking photos was the last thing on my mind! 📸👖 (At least we got a good laugh out of it!)

The kids tore it up with the Nerf guns, and then the adults brought the heat on the mats!
