We’ve put in the work, and now it’s time to show off that progress! Here is everything you need to know about the schedule for this week:

🥋 Monday
* Mr. Hurst kicks off testing week with his Masters Class at 5:30 PM!
*
🥋 Tuesday — TESTING NIGHT (All Students)

* Kids: Show up at your normal class time to test! Non-testing students will sit on the edge of the mat to support their teammates. We will start with our newest students first and work our way up. Once your child finishes testing, they are free to go!

* Adults: Testing will take place during normal class times as well.

🎯 Thursday — KIDS NERF PARTY!

* We are celebrating all the hard work with a Nerf party for the kiddos! Please double-check the modified schedule for Thursday.

Tuesday in the books, and everybody absolutely brought the energy tonight! 🔥💪

Here is a quick breakdown of what we covered on the mats:

Beginner Kids: Dialed in a standing duck-under to take the back, finishing with a slick armbar from back control! 🥋

Advanced Kids: Nailed the helicopter choke from top turtle, plus a trap-and-armbar transition when the opponent tries to explode out! 🚁⚡

Adult Beginners: Took control of the back and dialed in critical control points to keep opponents pinned. 🎯

Adult Advanced: Sealed up our deep half guard series using the lapel for maximum leverage and sweep power! 🥷

Huge shoutout to everyone—you guys have been putting in work this month, and the progress shows! Let’s keep that momentum rolling right into tomorrow!

Mastered 2 essential moves from bottom turtle to recover guard and get back in the fight!

Adults
Dominated top turtle with 2 key attacks:
Knee wedge isolation to lock up a back take
Spiral ride variation to take the back or flatten them out into top side control

Rest up, drink some water, and let’s keep this momentum rolling!
