APPLY Day is approaching. Mark your calendars for September 18.. Morristown Seniors will be starting college applications and applying for Advantage Shelby County at lunch. Ms. Swaney will be providing pizza for you that day!

Did You Know? 🍌 August 25th is National Banana Split Day, and we’re celebrating in the cafeteria!

✅ Fun Fact: The banana split was invented over 100 years ago in Pennsylvania. Come enjoy this classic treat at Breakfast and learn a little food history while you’re at it!

A huge MHS shout out to our bus drivers! We appreciate what they do for our students. Last week, in particular, was challenging as they were dealing with all the weather we had. We have fantastic bus drivers here at Morristown and I appreciate them so much!

Our staff is ready to welcome everyone back to school tomorrow morning! Please remember that tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5th, is an early release day for all Shelby Eastern students. Dismissal times are as follows:

● Early Learning: 2:00 PM
● Elementary (K-5): 2:30 PM
● Secondary (6-12): 2:40 PM

All schedules should now be visible in the Parent-Student PowerSchool Portal. If you notice an issue with your child's schedule, please email your school counselor.

We are excited and eager to shape, empower, and support the minds of tomorrow!

Parents and students:

We want to invite you to our annual Back-To-School Open House on Monday, August 3rd 5:30-6:30 pm.

Students will have a chance to pick up a paper copy of their schedule, access their locker, walk through the building, pick up their Chromebook, and meet their teachers.

We hope to see you there!
