Congratulations to Miss Brianna and Miss Nayeli for graduating college and high school! We can’t wait to see what comes next!

Yesterday, we celebrated our VIPs — Very Important Parents! 💚 We know how much love, time, and hard work goes into being a parent, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. Families enjoyed a special breakfast together, along with time to connect with other COG parents. Thank you for all that you do to support your children and our school community — we love our COG families!

🍦 Cones with Cops! 🍦

To honor and celebrate National Police Week, we had the best time sharing some ice cream and laughs with three of Morristown’s finest! 👮 It was such a treat to have Officer Dan, Officer Bobby and Officer Paul stop by for some neighborhood bonding.

It wasn't just about the sprinkles—it was about bringing our community a little closer together. At Children on the Green, we love creating these moments where our kids can connect with local helpers, building that sense of trust and "big family" energy we strive for every day.

We will keep the "community helper" spirit alive as the children read and play. We have added police books to the classroom and Officer Dan presented us with a police car ride on toy for gross motor play outside.

A sweet thank you to Beenie’s Ice Cream for generously donating the delicious ice cream, sprinkles, and cones that made this event so special! 🍨 We’re so lucky to have such great partners like the Morris Township Police Department keeping our community safe and smiling. 💙🤍

As part of our Restaurant Study, we read The Perfect Sushi by Emily Satoko Seo today and followed it up with a real-world taste test of fresh cucumber rolls from Aikou Modern Asian Fusion!

The children's reactions were priceless: some loved it and ate it right up, some eyed it suspiciously, and others safely explored the texture with a quick lick! 😋

In alignment with our Creative Curriculum and mission, this fun activity connects literacy to hands-on sensory exploration. It’s a wonderful way to help our students build confidence, practice positive risk-taking, and expand their palates!
