The Morris Educational Foundation congratulates the hardworking Morris School District 5th-grade graduates in the class of 2026 🥳.

To celebrate their achievements in elementary school, the MEF gifted each of the four elementary schools with congratulatory banners to display at their moving-up ceremonies. We wish each 5th grader the best of luck at Frelinghuysen Middle School!

We are so thankful to the Deloitte volunteers for joining us on last week! Volunteers from Deloitte in Morristown rolled up their sleeves to organize and inventory the Morristown High School Language Arts book room and support the Morristown High School Theatre department by sorting wood scraps, hardware, and furniture backstage.

Their time, energy, and willingness to help behind the scenes ensure that students and teachers have the resources and spaces they need to learn, create, and thrive. Thank you for investing in our school community and demonstrating the power of service in action! 💙📚🎭.

The school year may be winding down, but exciting opportunities are just getting started at Morristown High School!

Launching this fall, the Artisan Academy will empower creative students to transform their artistic talents into future careers through hands-on learning and real-world experience.

Read how MHS teachers Mr. Jim Boothby and Ms. Liz Ostendorp brought this innovative vision to life and created a pathway where passion, creativity, and entrepreneurship come together.

A special thank you to Frank and Kay Failla of the Lauren & Emily Failla Foundation and MHS Principal Mr. Mark Manning for their generosity and commitment to expanding opportunities for students. ❤️

🔬🦖 From dinosaurs and exotic animals to advanced chemistry labs, STEM learning came alive across the Morris School District this year thanks to donor support through MEF's 180 Days of Impact campaign.

At all seven elementary schools, students are exploring science through programs like Dinosaurs Rock, Nature Nick, and Mad Science, sparking curiosity and inspiring a love of discovery.

As Woodland Science teacher Ms. Noelle Mortillo shared:

💬 "The students were absolutely captivated by the life-size dinosaur fossils and hands-on presentation. Their excitement, curiosity, and engagement throughout the program were incredible to see, and the experience sparked so many thoughtful questions and conversations that continued long after the assembly ended."

At Morristown High School, MEF-funded chemistry equipment and academic resources are helping Honors and AP Chemistry students gain hands-on experience that prepares them for college and beyond. Feedback from alumni even noted the following:

💬 "Morristown High School has equipment that even colleges do not provide in their introductory chemistry courses."
