Hey Hey!! News of the day! Phil Lloyd is finally going to make an attempt at a partial retirement. What does that mean? Well, he is closing down the music store. He will still keep his recording studio open and they will still have lessons downstairs. He has already found someone to lease the store portion out so he needs to SELL EVERYTHING!! Get in there and get your gear!! Loads of Alvarez and Ibanez guitars left. EVERYTHING has to be out by April 30th.

TALES OF DIGBETH WITH LYNDON LANEY
To celebrate the launch of our new Digbeth range, we sat down for a chat with our founder Lyndon Laney about all things bass.
In this new weekly series, you'll learn some Laney history and hear some brilliant stories from the man himself!
Check out the video to hear Lyndon talking about buying his first bass guitar in 1963 Brimingham.
& check out the Digbeth range here!

Laney is the signature of high quality British guitar and bass amplifiers. When Lyndon Laney needed an amp for his band in 1966, little did he know that the amp he made was the start of a long journey, a journey spanning over 50 years and every continent on the planet.

Just in at Lloyds Music Mart! Its a hard to find Audio-Technica U859QL Cardioid Condenser Quick-Mount Gooseneck Microphone. THAT description is a mouthful, but this little mic is more of an earful. Designed to plug directly into a panel- or desk-mounted XLRF-type connector, the U859QL features an ultra-flexible small-diameter gooseneck and accepts interchangeable elements, available in cardioid, hypercardioid, omnidirectional and UniLine line cardioid polar patterns. Equipped with self-contained electronics, the phantom-powered microphone also offers an 80 Hz low-cut UniSteep filter that reduces pickup of low-frequency ambient noise. The microphone is 18.90 inches long.

Another Yamaha Keyboard that came in last week!
The PSR-EW310 is the new standard for portable keyboards. Featuring a 76-key, touch-sensitive keyboard and an all-new tone generator that delivers a broad selection of high-quality Voices. A perfect starter keyboard for the more serious piano beginner. Ask Phil to play you a little tune. If you get a video of him playing and post it here on FB. I will put your name in for the holiday drawing.
