Chocolate, you say?🍫

While chocolate is one of the most beloved desserts across the globe, few know that July 7 marks World Chocolate Day. This celebration commemorates the introduction of chocolate in Europe around 1550, thus initiating the infatuation with all-things related to this decadent treat.

In Ms. Hadjiloucas’ AP Human Geography class from this past year, students studied the development and movement of the cacao beans and chocolate from their place of origin, analyzing how such commerce changed the world. Additionally, students were able to sample different types of chocolate, making for a deliciously sweet class experience!

So this is your excuse to have a piece of chocolate today and celebrate World Chocolate Day!πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸΎπŸ«
