Changing the plan up a bit. What's the best way as an individual to to see if your recipe is worth anything? Well, we have a calendar of Home Brew competitions and we're going to take some of the experiments to the judges.

We've been radio silent... so what's happening?... Spring is in full swing. Took a trip to a local farm today? Looks like the trees here are starting to work towards making some fruit. The juice from this farm yielded a pretty good test batch, probably the best one yet. I think were gonna use this mix of commercial varietals to make something special... Oh! and couldn't stop without saying hey to the local animals.

Spring has officially began! So why not take an early visit to an Orchard and a Cider Mill. Yes it's a bare field, but there will be fruit soon enough. We did find ourselves some good base juice to kick off another test batch. Some good characteristics in this one. Let's see what happens.

And speaking of traditions, 10 years later the Atlantic City Beer and Music Fest is still going strong. The event is this weekend featuring 1000 different Beer and Cider brews from 150 breweries.
