Great to see everyone at the banquet last night! Hopefully, Lisa Bridges will jump on here to announce the Velma Wortman Scholarship award winners. The winner of the Morristown High School Alumni Association Scholarship winner was Mollie Runnebohm. Congratulations!! A huge thanks for the donations toward our operating fund last night! That allowed us to get the deposit for the caterer for next year. Thank you to all the committee members and Shannon Basey Jenks for all you did to make the banquet possible.

Only 4 more days until the Alumni Banquet! Doors open at 5:00. Reminder: we cannot accommodate "walk-ins" this year. You must have a reservation.

One week from tonight is the 2024 MHS Alumni Banquet. Doors open at 5:00 We have given our plate count to the caterer. If your name isn't on our reservation list, we won't be able to accommodate you at this year's banquet. We do have a very short list of people that will be allowed to pay at the door because of mail issues. Once you arrive you will be given a ticket which you must display in order to sit at your year's table and receive a meal. We regret that we need to do this, but a few people have forced our hand. We were stiffed for the cost of several meals last year. We were told they "just wanted to visit, but not eat." The other issue that caused was the number of chairs. The committee sets the tables for a specific number of reservations. Someone who walks in and "just wants to visit" takes up a seat someone else paid for. Do not plan on attending under those terms. You won't receive a ticket, you won't be allowed to sit at the reserved year tables, you won't be served a meal. You will be asked to leave.

At this time reservations are no longer being accepted for the 2024 Morristown High School Alumni Banquet. We are contracted to give the caterer a plate count 2 weeks out, which is now. Unfortunately, we experienced issues with the USPS and delivery of the invitations. We have noticed from post marks, that there is a significant delay in receiving reservations. We apologize for any disappointment this causes you.

2024 MHS Alumni Banquet: If you haven't mailed your reservation yet, it is better if you call 317-407-3710 now. You can pay at the door, but we need a count for the caterer.
