Today marks a truly historic milestone at MHS! 🏫

Not only was it the last day of school, but we also celebrated the incredible and dedicated Mr. Gregory DiGioacchino on his very "last last day" of teaching.

After an astonishing 50 years of service, Mr. DiGioacchino is officially retiring. The staff at MHS came together today to celebrate his monumental legacy and give him the send-off he deserves.

Thank you, Mr. DiGioacchino, for a half-century of educational excellence. Have a wonderful summer, and enjoy your well-deserved retirement! 👏🎓🍎☀️

MSD Realtor Open-House Luncheon 🏫

The Morris School District hosted its first annual Realtor Open-House Luncheon this week. Local realtors joined us for a wonderful afternoon of connection, collaboration, and great conversation.

Our goal was to establish a strong partnership with the professionals who help families find their way home to our district. It was an incredible opportunity to share what makes MSD so special, and just as importantly, to listen. We gained fantastic insights into the questions families are asking about our schools when moving to the area.

Thank you to all the realtors who attended.

The auditoriums at FMS & MHS play a vital role for both students and the community. Proposed upgrades focus on modernizing outdated equipment and lighting, along with installing a modern climate control system to enhance comfort and create a more engaging experience for everyone.

Morris Plains School District

FMS lacks adequate classroom space and must rely on trailers to accommodate all students. Students move back and forth in all weather conditions, and these transitions take time away from actual instruction.
